What's this?

This tree is an elegant giant, best known for its deep pine smell. Overall, it is conical in shape, coming to a point at the topmost branches. This tree is an evergreen, meaning it retains green foliage year round. These trees are popular for construction and fine woodworking, due to their nice smell and ability to resist insects. Their bark is dark red and brown, and can get peeled away over time.

Foliage

Foliage is scale-like, and most notably fragrant when crushed. These feather - like leaves stay green throughout the entire year

Seeds or Cones

The Incense Cedar produces cones that, when pollinated, take roughly eight months to mature. These cones are small and open into a triangle shape
