What's this?

The Little Leaf Linden is a medium size shade tree with heart shaped leaves. The bark of the Little Leaf Linden is grey-brown, with vertical grooves that run the length of the trunk. This tree is a conventional cone shape, making it desired in residential landscaping. It is often praised for its plethora of positive attributes, including fragrant flowers. Linden flowers are full of nectar, attracting a variety of pollinators, from bees to hummingbirds.

Foliage

Heart shaped with asymmetrical base. They remain a deep green most of the year, but turn yellow and slightly translucent in the fall.

The seed pod is round and slightly hairy, often dark brown in color and produced at the end of each summer
